Terms of Service

I'm Umut Arduç, an indie developer. This page covers the Terms of Service for the apps I publish ("the Apps"). Some Apps are free to download, with optional Premium features available as auto-renewing subscriptions.

I make the Apps available to you subject to the following Terms of Service. Do not use an App if you do not accept these Terms. By using an App, you affirmatively accept these Terms.

Use of the Apps

  1. You agree to use an App only for purposes permitted by (a) these Terms and (b) any applicable law, regulation, or generally accepted practice in your jurisdiction.
  2. By using an App, you consent to the processing of data as described in the Privacy Policy.
  3. If an App displays speed, distance, or navigation data, that information is for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for your vehicle's own instruments, road signage, or your own judgment. You are solely responsible for operating your vehicle safely and in compliance with local traffic laws, including laws about interacting with a phone while driving.
  4. An App may communicate with Apple's servers to check for updates, such as bug fixes and new versions. By installing an App, you agree to receive such updates.
  5. I may stop providing an App, or any feature within it, at my sole discretion and without prior notice.

Subscriptions

  1. Some Apps offer optional Premium features as auto-renewing subscriptions, billed and managed entirely through your Apple ID account.
  2. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  3. You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in your device's App Store account settings — I cannot cancel or refund a purchase on your behalf.

Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Each App, and all content included within it — including its interface, graphics, and text — is my property or that of my licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  2. I grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use an App. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, or redistribute it, or sell or exploit it for any commercial purpose, without my express written consent. Unauthorized use immediately terminates this license.

No Warranties and Limitation of Liability

  1. Each App is provided "as is." I don't warrant that an App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any sensor-based readings will always be accurate. Your use of an App is at your own risk.
  2. I am not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, an App. My liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid for that App.

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  2. If a dispute arises, I'll try to resolve it directly with you first. Any dispute that can't be resolved this way will be handled by the competent courts of Türkiye, unless mandatory local law entitles you to a different jurisdiction.
  3. Any claim arising from your use of an App must be brought within one year of the event, or it will be barred.

Changes

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time, including as I release new apps. Changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
